Act On It’s Get Out Monologues

This collection of monologues is a comprehensive and easy-to-use teaching resource. Created in collaboration with a group of under-represented young people, the collection captures authentic, otherwise unheard voices and supports equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) in drama teaching.

This book is an invaluable teaching tool for drama students, with many key benefits:

· It can be used by individuals and groups
· The monologues can facilitate activities that exercise the imagination and offer opportunities to gain valuable practical experience
· All content is crafted by professional theatre makers and informed by senior assessment specialists
· The monologues are inclusive and will engage young people and increase empathy for the under-represented
· This book can be used to support teaching and learning for General Qualifications, Vocational Qualifications and Project Qualifications
